The Kutztown Fair Association is proud to introduce the winners of the Kutztown Fair Youth Scholarships.
The recipient(s) have a proven record of leadership, community service, and participation in the Kutztown Fair. These outstanding young people will continue their education with the assistance of a scholarship presented by the Kutztown Fair Association. Scholarship funds are made available from proceeds provided by the Kutztown Fair Association and the Ag Benefit Auction.
Meet Our 2024 Kutztown Fair Scholarship Winners
Hailey Blatt
Hailey Blatt is the daughter of Christopher and Tammy Blatt, Robesonia, PA. She is a 2025 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and is now in her freshman year at Penn State University World Campas, majoring in Business Management. Hailey has been a very active member of both FFA and Berks County 4-H programs. Over the last 8 years, she has participated in the 4-H Beef, Swine, Goat, and Sheep clubs. She has earned numerous champion awards at fairs and shows for her livestock projects. Some of her leadership roles include president of the Berks 4-H Livestock Club, vice president of Conrad Weiser FFA, FFA secretary, and FFA corresponding secretary. Hailey has also been involved in donation projects with local homeless shelters and animal humane societies. Her high school records show her donating 274 hours to community service. Over the years, Hailey has exhibited many cattle, swine, goats, and sheep at the Kutztown Fair and won Grand Champion awards 9 times and several Showmanship awards. We wish Hailey much success in her work toward a Business Management degree.

Kamryn Fink
Kamryn Fink is the daughter of Travis and Stephanie Fink, Germansville, PA. Since graduating from Northwestern Lehigh High School in 2024, Kamryn has gone on to her second year at Delaware Valley University, majoring in Animal Science/ Livestock Management. For the past 12 years, Kamryn has been a member of the Lehigh County 4-H Livestock Club, having successfully completed numerous goat, swine, and sheep projects. In addition, she has served as president of the club for 5 years and started a “Dirty Hands Club” workshop where she taught younger members how to grow food. As part of the Lehigh County 4-H Teen Council for 8 years, Collegiate Farm Bureau, and Delval Dairy Science Club, Kamryn has continued to serve her community and beyond. Kamryn was also the 2023 Great Allentown Fair Queen, giving talks and promoting agriculture. Over the years, Kamryn has been active in numerous Farm Bureau, Rotary Club, Upper Lehigh Lions Club and Schnecksville Fair projects. She also finds time to help out with many varied chores on the family’s Heidel Hollow Farm. At the Kutztown Fair, she has exhibited sheep, hay, and tomatoes. Kamryn, for the past 2 years, has also helped make the woolen shawl sold at the fair’s Scholarship Benefit Auction. We look forward to seeing Kamryn become an excellent livestock manager and wish her the best on achieving this goal.

Olivia Wisser is the daughter of Jason and Amy Wisser, New Tripoli, PA. Olivia is now in her first year of study at Penn State, Lehigh Valley campus, after graduating from Northwestern Lehigh High School in June 2025. Her major at Penn State is Animal Science. Olivia has been a member of the Lehigh County 4-H Dairy Club for 10 years, and has served as president, vice president, secretary, and historian. Some of her other 4-H activities have been Livestock Club (2 years – vice president), Teen Council (3 years), and Program Development Committee (3 years). She is also a past president of the Lehigh County FFA Chapter. During high school, she has participated in marching, concert, and jazz bands, choir, drama/theater, Interact club, scholastic scrimmage, school newspaper, and yearbook. Olivia also volunteers at the Lowhill Historical Society and the local elementary school. Volunteering several evenings at the “Fun on the Farm” event at the Kutztown Fair has also been very important to Olivia. Over the years, she has shown dairy cattle, beef cattle, and both black and white and colored photography projects. The fair wishes Olivia the best as she works toward completing her studies of Animal Science, focusing on Dairy Cattle Nutrition and Genetics and minoring in Agribusiness.
[/su_spoiler]Criteria for Scholarship Applications
1. Eligibility is open to any youth who has been a Kutztown Fair participant for at least 2 consecutive years
(including the current year).
2. The applicant must have graduated from high school and be currently enrolled in a school of higher learning as of August 1 of the current year.
3. Scholarship amounts may vary from year to year depending on available funds.
4. Selection will be based upon the following criteria:
5. Citizenship
6. Showmanship and ethics
7. Academic performance
8. Fair participation
9. Volunteer fair activities
10. Other activities

11. The scholarship money must be used to help finance a two to four year higher education program.
12. The applicant must complete the application and write a one-page essay including information such as their background,
future plans, past and current activities, and planned use of scholarship funds.
13. Include a copy of your High School/college transcript with the application.
14. The application deadline will be Sept. 30.
Scholarship applicants are encouraged to volunteer to assist with the fair activities and functions. We need announcers, show clerks, and people to help keep the barns and grounds clean. Contact an Ag Committee member to volunteer for any of these jobs.
